Thristhalam, a site where three great powers converge, is a sacred place where three fundamental forces bestow blessings. This place is revered as it unites three fundamental divine forces, offering a unique and potent spiritual experience to devotees.
Reasons for Conducting Yagnas
Yagnas are performed for the welfare of the world and the well-being of people. According to scriptures, when a yagna is conducted invoking a specific deity, that deity directly comes to bless and grant the desired boons. The flames of Agni (fire) naturally ascend upwards, carrying the offerings made into it towards the universe, eventually reaching the deity. This causes the deity to be pleased and bestow blessings on the devotees. The mantras chanted during the yagna reach the deity, enhancing the soul’s power, and eliminating negative thoughts. The smoke and heat from the yagna, arising from offerings like turmeric root, herbs, and other materials, help destroy disease-causing germs when they come into contact with the body, leading to physical rejuvenation and healing. The fragrances emanating from the yagna calm the mind. The Vedas and Puranas assert that offering sacrifices and prayers into the fire directly pleases the deity, resulting in the fulfillment of wishes.
Yagna for Resolving Karmic Issues on Thursdays
Every Thursday, the Maha Varahi Yagna is conducted by Yagarishi Varaha Guruji to resolve people’s karmic issues. This yagna is specifically aimed at ensuring that any wish of the devotees is fulfilled. By participating in this yagna, one’s past and present karmic debts are believed to be cleared. It also resolves problems caused by planetary afflictions, brings marital and progeny blessings, ensures good health, promotes progress in business, and excels in education.
During the yagna, devotees can personally offer their prayers and sacrifices into the fire, presenting their requests to Goddess Varahi. It is said that if one participates in this Thursday yagna for three consecutive Thursdays (from the initial vow to the protective charm), any wish they have will be fulfilled, as assured by Varaha Guruji. Additionally, devotees are encouraged to take part in the abhishekam (ritual bathing) for Goddess Varahi.
The yagna is conducted at the Trishakti Varahi Peedam (in Gopalapuram), and after the yagna, devotees can partake in the annaprasadam (blessed food) and seek solutions for unresolved karmic issues from Guruji, receiving his blessings. Thousands of people have participated in this Thursday yagna and experienced its benefits, which highlights the unique significance of the Trishakti Varahi Peedam.
